Troy was never the 'stay in one place for long' type, not even as a child. His life as an army brat, didn't help matters much. He was always wandering off the bases his father was stationed at. His mother died when he was four, and since he was an only child, he found himself alone, with alot of time on his hands. His father was in the Rangers, and Troy could not help, but start to learn some of the Ranger training and skills. Just a little at first, but substantially more as he became a teenager. His fathers squad members would always sort of adopt him and teach him almost anything he would be willing to learn. His father wanted him to eventually follow in his footsteps, and after what seemed like a forever amount of prodding, Troy gave in, and joined the Rangers. His fathers dream did not last long though. Although Troy liked all the skills of the Rangers, he did not like all the rules and the authority. Growing up without many rules, or a present authority figure, he could not live so ristricted. Even though he was at the top of his class in skills, he was always getting disciplined.
After the ‘incident’, Troy was honorably discharged, returned to Philadelphia and attended Temple university and received a Bachelors Degree in Political Science.
